An awfully big post...
Because I'm away until at least next Sunday... -____-
Any of you who happen to have watched all of M*A*S*H can go and download the final-wip-version of my first almost-finished musicvideo "Hurt" (song by Johnny Cash) here: LINK>>> HERE <<< LINK
It does contain spoilers up until the end of the series but especially for 6x22 Dreams. It still needs some work, but most of it does seem to be fine...

My A-Levels on Thursday went wonderful!

I was excited and anxious about them but they turned out to be maybe the easiest test I have written in biology. Last years A-Levels were awfully hard and this year there was a new system of how and why to choose questions (what the teachers do) and it was soooooo easy!
And I got my new, wonderful shirt with our slogan on it.

Abi 007 - Lern an einem Anderen Tag
(Abi 007 - Learn another Day)

Yesterday my Mum told me about my (supposedly) oh so wonderful cousin Holger. He studied in *gasp* America because *le gasp* Germany is stupid! So my aunt and uncle paid for that +better+ education.
Well... turns out that he had an average grade of 2.3 and his education *had* to be paid for. Otherwise he just couldn't have studied air- and space-travel technology. Yeah. That's my family...

I got 8 votes at premade_lj's header challenge vote so far. *squees* I mean, some poeple get 107, okay. But I got 8 votes!

WIP Meme

If you happen to be working on some new writing project, fanfiction or what have you, post a sentence or snippet from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing part so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

M*A*S*H - My body

“I come here when I want to be alone.”
“Really?” asked Mulcahy. “It’s not like I wouldn’t know…”
“I only come here to think and to be alone or if I know someone very well and I’m certain about what I feel for them.”
The priest knew that he should be concerned – or rather not. He shouldn’t be wanting to know what Hawkeye felt. “What about me?”
Maybe they were too drunk to care. Hawkeye seemed to be. He stood up and walked over to his friend. He was standing too close, only a few inches away and leaned forward. His lips were almost touching the other man’s ear.
Hawkeye pushed up Mulcahy’s sweater and pulled lightly on the waistband of his trousers. The skin was soft and warm and Hawkeye’s finger brushed over it, tracing the faint line of hair leading down to uncharted and dangerous territory.
Mulcahy pulled his head back and stared into Hawkeye’s eyes. Before he could say something though Hawkeye leaned forward again and sealed Mulcahy’s lips with his own. For a moment the priest was startled but then something primal in him took over. One of his hands came up and grabbed Hawkeye’s shoulder, while the surgeons hand gripped Mulcahy’s hip.
“I guess I’m rather sure about this.”

M*A*S*H - God knows

A rooster began to crow in the darkness outside and Francis lay back on his bed.

“Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”

(And nobody will understand that - not from that excerpt anyway - but that doesn't matter because it's mine. *awwwwww*)

M*A*S*H - Two Bananas for Breakfast

Two bananas. It always was two bananas. And a cup of coffee (God knows how he learned to cope with the strong brew – but nothing could be worse than Korea anyway, right?).
Dr Pierce, head of surgical ward, ex-Captain and kind of healthily insane (or unhealthily sane?) never needed more in the morning before he headed to hospital.
Even if he only stayed for two hours or checked up on a patient on his way to the supermarket (why pick that supermarket across town? He never answered that because he knew he was addicted to his work.) he had two bananas and a cup of coffee beforehand.
Two bananas a day, 14 bananas a week.

Of course you can study that in Germany! In Stuttgart, for example. Also, no our education system doesn't suck! In fact, German Unis might be better than the average American University - we can't compete with the big shots, of course, but the average - puh-lease.

Other than that: Your storys look really interesting - especially the second one (are you alluding to St. Peter during the Passion there?) and the last one - but the first one seemed hot, too. So, yeah, maybe especially all three of them. :)

Oh, and I just remembered there was another question you had about the Communion. I hope I'm not too late with this: The priest drinks the wine and eats the host before starting to give the stuff to the churchgoers. I used to find that kinda selfish... ;)
And I don't know about the wine on special occasions. I didn't get any for my first Communion (since we were kids), and I haven't married yet, so sorry I can't help you out there.

Wikipedia said something about "giving Communion under both kinds on special occasion". Aber ich bin großzügig... XD An der Story muss ich ja echt noch arbeiten... ne Predigt braucht sie auch...

I refuse to watch the vid until it is finished! That way I can perv with help you, especially on those tricky Mulcahy scenes. :)

On average, I'd say the German education system is better than the American one. We're taught that school is bad and getting pass-out drunk and not going to classes is good. Plus, there are so many that nearly anyone can get into a university somewhere. Though, we do have alot of really good, really prestigious schools. *takes time out to boast because Chapel Hill is one of them* Sorry 'bout the ego. And 2.3 is a little better than a C average... He'd have gotten kicked out here.

I'm looking forward to seeing full versions of all these stories. :) And I'm contemplating doing my own WIP meme...

Well... irony doesn't seem to be my forte anymore...
Why does nobody detect the resentment in that statement? Has my brain died like my hard drive?

"Two bananas for Breakfast" is finished. XD
About the other two... well...
