"... and Trapper said it couldn't get worse!"
Today I had my appointment with the drafting-guy. He told me that the other idiot (a Lieutenant, fcol!) had told me the wrong dates.
Air Force and Navy only accept medical officers in July, only the Army takes them on both dates. I believed that only the Navy would accept medical officers in July and applied for the first of January...
Means: I could already have a job...
BUT he also told me that I might not have to pass the sports-test. There is this "German sports badge" thing. It's a hell less difficult than 2400m in 12min. If I fail the sports test I might be given the chance to do it again or present them with that badge thingy. :D
My carrier is saved.
Although there will be only about 40 medical officers accepted in January. I hope that at least the ratio of 3 candidates per available post.

WoW hasn't worked for two consecutive days now.

A-Levels (I betcha all wanted to hear that!)

I so don't believe that. It was sooooo easy (means I will get only 10 points because it was too easy). But I better start at the beginning.
Yesterday evening I was lying in my bed thinking about possible questions. I had watched the season 6 M*A*S*H ep "In love and war" and remembered a question where you had to compare the text from the A-Levels to a literary work you know. Back then it was a love story and I thought about how I would compare "In Love and War" with that story.
Today I opened the booklet and a name stared out at me. Tuttle. Do you remember Tuttle???
GAH!
I mean, it was the literary text written by a Lisa Tuttle and I had to pick that.
Then I read the composition topics, "3. Passion in literature. Pick a work of an english-speaking author and describe what impressed you about it."
I. DIED. I died several very slow, very fangirlish deaths. I had imagined what I could write if I had to write a creative text but *that*!
I openly pledged my undying love to "M*A*S*H: A novel about three Army Doctors". At least I think that's what the title is. Okay, I never read it, but I pledged my undying love to M*A*S*H.
WITH QUOTES!
"Insanity is just a state of mind"
"Anger turned inwards is depression. Anger turned sideways is Hawkeye."
Hawkeye: "It should get better from now on."
Trapper: "Yeah. How could it get any worse?"
